What is included in the Junk Manager service?

The Junk Manager service includes:

  • A refundable deposit for the container for $39.
  • The drop-off of a new container that you may keep for up to 4 months so that you can fill-up with clutter and unwanted items as you go.
  • First free pickup of your container full of unwanted items.
  • The donation, recycling, and responsible disposal of all items.
How much does this cost and are there any other fees?

Junk Manager offers an upfront price of $128 which includes a refundable deposit of $39. Once you return the container in good condition, your deposit will be refunded, which brings the net cost to $89. Additional charges may apply for cans of paint, chemicals or hazardous materials.

Do you take cans of paint, chemicals or hazardous materials?

Yes, we do but these specific items are charged as add-ons based on the volume and the contents. Our team will provide an instant, no-obligation quote for these items when we pick up your container. For Junk Manager add-ons, prices start as low as $15.

What items can I throw in the container?

Your Junk Manager container can take household items, decorations, electronic devices, small appliances, toys, sports equipment, tools, clothes, shoes, and any small junk items. Note that all items must be dry.

The following items are accepted but additional charges may apply. Our team will provide you with an instant, no-obligation quote for these items when we come pick up your container:

  • Cans of paint
  • Hazardous materials or chemicals
What items can’t be thrown in the container?

We do not take trash and organic waste. If any of these items are in your container, you may lose your deposit as we will be forced to dispose of the container and won’t be able to reuse it.

When will you drop-off the container?

We will automatically schedule a drop-off appointment for 3 weekdays after your Junk Manager purchase. You can easily reschedule your appointment from the confirmation page or through a link sent to your email.

Do I need to be home for my drop-off appointment?

If you want a contactless delivery or wish for us to drop-off the container by your door simply choose “leave by the door” as your drop off option during the checkout process.

How long can I keep the container for?

You may keep the container for up to 4 months. If your container gets full before that 4 month period is up, simply call us at 855-543-3116 (toll-free) and to schedule your pickup.

What if my container is not full by the time of my pickup appointment?

If your container is not ready for pickup by the time of your appointment, please call us to 855-543-3116 (toll-free) to reschedule. As long as the pickup occurs within four months after the purchase date, we will pickup the container at no additional cost.

In the event that the container is not picked up within four months (120 days) your container will not be picked up and your $39 deposit will not be refunded.

Once my container is full, when will it be picked up from my home?

If your container gets full before your pickup appointment, you can call 855-543-3116 (toll-free) to schedule your pickup. We will remove your container from wherever it is located in your home or anywhere else—all you have to do is point!

Note that your pickup appointment will be automatically scheduled for a weekday about 3 months after your purchase. However, if you need it picked up at a different time, you can reschedule to any time within your four month Junk Manager service period.

What is the refundable deposit for?

During check out we require a $39 refundable deposit to cover the cost of the container that you will keep in your home for up to 4 months. Within 30 days of picking up your container, as long as it is in good condition, we will refund the deposit to the same credit card you used to purchase the Junk Manager service.

The container is in good condition when: it is clean (no stains or liquids inside), it has its lid, and it has no cracks or other signs of visible damage.

What if I have large unwanted items?

If you have more junk, it’s no problem! We can take everything else as an add-on. We will price it the same way we handle our normal one-time pick-ups—the cost is calculated based on the space the items take up in our truck. The team will provide you with an instant, no-obligation quote when we come for your Junk Manager drop-off or pick up appointments.

What’s the cancellation or refund policy?

In order to keep our costs low, we aren’t able to offer cancellations or refunds for the Junk Manager service. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information.
